Sometimes, life isn't fair, whether it's people or animals, depression is a pretty big deal. Sam, aged about 5 to 6 years old, was an owner surrender. The reason provided was that he was no longer wanted. So, Sam sat in a pen, with other dogs, humble, frightened and longing for something more than what life had provided him. Yet, for some reason, no one seemed to want to adopt him. Maybe because he was scared, timid and didn't outwardly show ambition. Sam's depression is pretty real. He'll require some nurturing, love and attention, and he certainly loves his attention when he warms up to you.

Who needs puppies? Right? Puppies require work, house training, etc. Sam, well, he's a ready made family member, just add FAMILY! Sam needs to be pulled out of his funk. Set up with a life where people won't let him down, will provide for him, and want to hang out with him. Want to have a beer/coffee/tea on the front porch, while sitting in your rocker? Sam's the man for the job, as he'd be right there, trying to catch some affection. I promise, this will be the first low maintenance male you've ever had in your life!
